Firm Help-me-park has been awarded the prestigious Park Mark for its second consecutive year.

The Safer Parking Scheme has awarded Gatwick meet and greet car parking firm Help-me-park the Park Mark award for the second year running. The prestigious award requires Help-me-park to meet stringent safety requirements set out by the Safer Parking Scheme.

Being given the award a second time shows Help-me-park has lived up to the promise it showed back when it was given its first Park Mark award just one year after the firm opened its London Gatwick car parking facility in 2008. The Gatwick car park boasts an enviable record of no crimes in the last 12 months.

The Park Mark award, which is controlled by the Safer Parking Scheme, is an initiative that was proposed originally by the Association of Chief Police Officers. The award is aimed at helping to cut crime in car parks through providing motorists with confidence that their vehicles will be secure and safe when they park in a facility that carries the award.

To garner Park Mark recognition, a car park must be inspected by the Police. They rate the quality of security measures installed at the car park. Successful inspection is contingent on operators having implemented every reasonable measure to deter anti-social behaviour or criminal activity.
