Hertz's chief financial officer has stepped down, the company has announced.

According to an official press release published on Tuesday, Elyse Douglas, who also serves as senior executive vice president for Hertz Global Holdings, has chosen to resign from her post for personal reasons.

Officials said that Douglas will continue working with the company through December in order to help complete a few key projects.

Meanwhile, the chief financial officer of the US-based company’s international arm, David J. Rosenberg, will serve as the interim chief until the a permanent CFO is appointed.

The news follows the announcement earlier this year that Hertz would be relocating its corporate headquarters from New Jersey to the city of Estero in southwestern Florida. The company’s chief has asked all senior executives to follow the company to the southern US state.

The firm said that top officials will be the first to travel to Florida next month and will establish a temporary headquarters in the city of Naples until the Estero site is completed.
